Must-Watch TV Shows & Documentaries on Sky This Month
Best Medicine (Sky One)
A US remake of beloved UK TV series Doc Martin, Best Medicine tells the story of Dr Martin Best, who moves from the hustle-and-bustle in the city of Boston to a quiet fishing village in Maine to start a private practice.
Soon he gets to work helping those around him, diagnosing the community of Port Wenn and making himself at home by reconnecting with his aunt who lives nearby.
His biggest problem? His phobia of blood, which stems from a tragedy that has haunted him for decades.

The Alien Autopsy Scandal (Sky Documentaries)
This eye-opening documentary focuses on the stranger-than-fiction tale of a group of young filmmakers in London who accidentally found themselves the centre of a worldwide media storm and string of conspiracy theories.
In 1995, the group created an 18-minute ‘found footage’ video of grainy films showing an alien autopsy in their London flat. Claiming it was from Roswell, New Mexico in 1947, they accidentally sparked “confirmation” that aliens were real, with government officials, military analysts and conspiracy theorists all looking into it.
To this day, some still believe it to be true.
But the scandal opened up a wider debate over the existence of extraterrestrial life, with whistleblowers coming forward with their own claims of unexplainable events, and the mysteries around Roswell, New Mexico continuing to this day.
Did the group accidentally stumble onto a truth that something is actually out there?
Available from June 12th
Rosa Elettrica (Sky One)
Rosa Elettrica, aka ‘Electric Rose’, is an Italian TV miniseries based on the novel by the same name.
The story follows Rosa, a new agent working in Witness Protection. When she’s tasked with looking after Cocíss, a young former boss of the Camorra crime organisation looking to turn over a new leaf, she finds herself on the run with the enemy as they both face threats to their lives. As they strive to survive and suffer threats and betrayals, they soon find themselves uncovering a conspiracy.
Available from June 16th
House of the Dragon Season 3 (Sky Atlantic)
The battle lines have been drawn, loyalties have been chosen, and the Dance of Dragons is set to turn bloody as House of the Dragon returns for its third season.
As the Black and Green factions of the Targaryen House prepare for war, King Aegon flees to Essos while Queen Rhaenyra makes her bid to claim the Kingdom.
But war always comes with a price, and with the fight spanning land, sea and sky, who will rise as the victor, and who won’t make it out alive?

Rik Mayall: Magnificent B’Stard (Sky Documentaries)
From Bottom to Drop Dead Fred, Rik Mayall cemented his position as one of the UK’s most beloved comedians throughout his career. Now, those that loved him most – including long-time collaborators and those influenced by his career to pursue their own, reflect on his humble beginnings in 1977 Manchester through to his success, and tragic death in 2014 at the age of 54.

The 20-episode season results in an explosive finale that’s their biggest catastrophe yet.
