In the newest addition to the Geordie Stories collection, Nathan Henry goes on a life-changing journey to bond with his dad, Glen, who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

In an open and honest look about Black father/son relationships, the pair talk about identity, vulnerability and their heritage as they head to Glen’s birthplace of Jamaica and reconnect with their family roots, while also exploring acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community within Caribbean culture.

Beyond The Borders

Release Date: October 3rd

Zoe Saldana stars in his brutal drama as Esmee, a private dancer who, in a moment of self-defence, kills a member of a cartel. Now fearing for her life, she crosses the US/Mexico border in a bid to start a new life –guided by a group of undocumented immigrants, she finds herself looking after a young girl whose mother was ripped from the group.

NCIS Origins Season 2

Release Date: October 15th, then weekly

A prequel series to the beloved detective drama follows Austin Stowell as a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs, as he kickstarts his career as a special agent in the 90s.

Part of the Camp Pendleton team, and guided by leader Mike Franks, the series explores Gibbs as he faces threats and encounters cases that shape his life both personally and professionally in the years that follow.

Mark Harmon, who plays Gibbs in the main series, narrates.

NCIS: Sydney Season 3

Release Date: October 15th, then weekly

Continuing on with NCIS-filled weekdays, we’re heading over to Sydney to pick up with the team in Harbour City. But they soon find out they can’t run away from their pasts, with Blue’s “family” tracking her down for their own ends, DeShawn hiding evidence to protect a loved one, and JD trying to keep the team intact.

The Substance

Release Date: October 17th

Elisabeth Sparkle (Demi Moore) has it all – including fame and success thanks to her aerobics show.

But when she is fired on her 50th birthday, she tries to find a new lease of life through The Substance – a treatment of mysterious origin which promises to transform her into an enhanced version of herself. All she has to do is follow the rules.

However, as she rebrands herself as “Sue” - complete with a new youthful body (Margaret Qualley) - the allure of beauty and youth becomes too tempting, and the consequences are beyond horrifying.

Super 8

Release Date: October 24th

Elle Fanning, Joel Courtney and Gabriel Basso star in this 2011 sci-fi thriller, playing three teens trying to make a zombie movie in 1979.

Armed with a Super-8 camera while bored in Ohio, their lives are changed forever when they witness a train derailing during their shoot.

However, they come to realise there was more to the horrific “accident” than meets the eye.

Mayor of Kingstown Season 4

Release Date: October 26th, then weekly

Jeremy Renner, Edie Falco and co are back in gang drama Mayor of Kingstown – but things aren’t looking good for Mike, whose position of power is being threatened. As a gang war wages on, new adversaries make their claim for control of Kingstown. Trying to balance both his personal life and the world that’s devolving into chaos around him, Mike needs to contend with a new warden that could hold the key to his loved ones’ protection.

The Running Man

Release Date: October 31st

Arnold Schwarzenegger stars in this cult-classic Stephen King adaptation set in a dystopian America where a TV game show could hold the key to his freedom.

In the year 2019 (the film was released in 1987), a totalitarian regime has taken over the States, and the country is glued to a game show titled The Running Man that sees prisoners compete for their freedom in front of a baying audience.

When falsely accused Ben Richards gets the chance to appear, he takes his shot – but there are forces at work to try and ensure he doesn’t make it out alive.
