Fuze: Everything you need to know about Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s new Sky Original movie

Hollywood action stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Theo James are teaming up for the heist of a lifetime in new Sky Original action-thriller, Fuze.

Written by Ben Hopkins (Inside, Limonov: The Ballad of Eddie), produced by Gillian Berrie (Tetris, Malevolent, Under The Banner of Heaven) and directed by David MacKenzie (Hell or High Water, Under The Banner of Heaven), this high octane thriller will put the men through their paces as they take advantage of a citywide crisis.

Speaking of the project, MacKenzie said: “Fuze is the first feature I’ve shot in London and I’m thrilled to be here. The cast and crew are the cream of British talent and I’m excited to roll camera.”

Berrie added: “I’ve never felt more excited or in better shape to start principal photography. The script is rocking and our team are on fire. What a cast! This movie is going to blow your socks off.”

Here’s everything you need to know about the film.

What is Fuze about?

Fuze is an action-thriller triggered when construction workers in London discover an unexploded World War II bomb.

With the entire city being forced to evacuate for fear of its detonation, a group of men decide to exploit the chaos. Using the evacuation as a cover, a team is gathered as they think fast on their feet to pull off an elaborate heist.

Meanwhile, bomb disposal expert Major Will Tranter and police chief Zuzana Greenfield become entangled in the unfolding crisis, tensions escalate and loyalties blur.

Shot throughout London in the summer of 2024, Fuze hurtles through a collision of a bomb threat, a precision heist, and a city on edge - where no one is quite who they seem.
