It’s coming up to Valentine’s Day and Netflix is feeling particularly romantic as they head into this February – bringing the perfect night in whether you’re flying solo or curling up on your sofa with your significant other.

Even if romance isn’t your thing, the streaming service is jam-packed with the return of some action favourites like The Night Agent and tackling one of the biggest true crime stories in modern British memory with The Investigation of Lucy Letby.

Is It Cake? Valentine’s Special

Release Date: February 4th

Mikey Day is back and ready to play Cupid in Is It Cake’s first ever Valentine’s Day special. In a twist to the show format, this time baking couples will be competing together in order to trick the celeb judges with their realistic cakes and win a cash prize.

With new games (including some created just for viewers), the baking game show promises to be wholesome fun for all the family.

The Investigation of Lucy Letby

Release Date: February 4th

It’s one of the biggest modern-day crime stories in British history. Lucy Letby, a neonatal nurse, was found guilty of murdering seven babies in her care – and attempting to murder seven others – between June 2015 and 2016.

She has been named as one of the most prolific child murderers in British history – but since her trial and conviction, feelings have remained divided over her guilt. Letby has always maintained her innocence.

In this new documentary, police footage of Letby’s arrest and sworn testimony from the trial is shown to the public, with one of the baby’s mothers speaking out for the first time about her experiences at trial to get justice.

The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4

Release Date: February 5th

Mickey Haller and his sweet, sweet car are back for a new season based on the novel series by Michael Connelly. Based on The Law of Innocence – the sixth book of the series – Micky faces his toughest case yet as he aims to prove his own innocence after a former client, Sam Scales, winds up murdered.

Queen of Chess

Release Date: February 6th

The story that inspired Netflix smash-hit The Queen’s Gambit, Queen of Chess follows the story of Judit Polgár, a 12-year-old Hungarian girl on a mission to become one of the greatest chess players of all time.

Following her story over a period of 15 years, Julia works her way through the male-dominated work of competitive chess, with her goal being to beat world champion Garry Kasparov.

Love Is Blind Season 10

Release Date: February 11th

The pods are open and this time they’re heading to Ohio as the US version of the popular dating show returns for its 10th season.

With Nick and Vanessa Lachey on hand to guide singletons through the process, hopeless romantics take the ultimate chance at love by dating and getting engaged without ever seeing their suitors in person.

It’s only once they’ve said yes that they finally meet – before testing their bond in the outside world as they live together and meet their families in the run-up to going down the aisle. Can their relationships survive?

How To Get to Heaven from Belfast

Release Date: February 12th

Best friends Saoirse, Robyn and Dara have been best friends since school – and now in their late 30s, their bond is more important than ever, even though their lives have taken different paths.

But it’s about to be put to the test when they find out about the death of the fourth friend in their group, triggering a chain of events as they head off on a road trip through Ireland as they piece together parts of their past.

Created by Derry Girls’ Lisa McGee, this comedy promises to bring the laughs and the heartfelt moments in equal measure as the women reckon with how their lives have turned out.

Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model

Tyra Banks and the creative team behind America’s Next Top Model are laying bare everything that went on in front of – and behind – the cameras of the reality competition that took the world by storm.

Promising to be a launchpad to a modelling career, ANTM has since been dogged with controversies, with participants coming forward about treatment through to the stranger-than-fiction challenges they were asked to undertake.

Being Gordon Ramsay

Gordon Ramsay is an international household name – famed for his love of swearing as much as his culinary abilities.

The Night Agent Season 3

Peter Sutherland is back in business as The Night Agent returns with a brand new mission. Following the events of season two, Peter is tasked with tracking down a Treasury Agent who has gone on the run with sensitive government intel after killing his boss.

Heading to Istanbul, Peter has to dodge assassins and a persistent journalist in order to get to the truth.

Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2

Release Date: February 26th

After the launch of part one in January, the second half of Benedict Bridgerton’s love story plays out as the series returns for part two.

Based on Julia Quinn’s novel An Offer from a Gentleman, creative and fun-loving Benedict finds himself lovestruck after a chance encounter with a mysterious Lady in Silver at a masquerade ball.
