IT: Welcome to Derry

Everything you need to know about IT: Welcome to Derry

Based on the 1986 novel IT by Stephen King, IT: Welcome to Derry pictures a world of the small town in the 1960s – decades before Pennywise wreaked havoc in the original story.
Taking place before the events of the movies IT and IT Chapter Two, IT: Welcome To Derry leads up to the first movie, starting in 1962 with the eerie disappearance of a young boy.
Four months later, a young couple and their son move to the town of Derry, Maine, to settle down and start a new life as a family.
But as children continue to disappear without explanation, strange goings on continue to disrupt the seemingly quaint area.
As friends of the missing begin their own investigation, they’re not prepared for the horrors that await them as they begin to be plagued with terrifying visions.
That’s all before their inevitable meeting with the clown king of horror himself, Pennywise…
