Everything you need to know about Netflix’s Greek mythology drama, Kaos

In Kaos, Zeus has enjoyed a long and rich life as King of The Gods alongside his wife, Hera, and so many children he can barely keep count. However, long-held prophecies are waiting to come into being and ruin this opulent world.

When one day he wakes up and discovers a new wrinkle on his forehead, his neurotic paranoia gets the better of him, and he soon begins to spiral, believing his fall from grace is coming. This is a particular annoyance for Hera, who has grown accustomed to her control of those around her.

Meanwhile, Hades, God of The Underworld, is beginning to lose his grip on his kingdom, with a backlog of the dead waiting impatiently for their moment to be processed. On Earth, Zeus’s rebellious son, Dionysus, is desperate for more recognition and responsibility from his father but is torn between that and his affection for the humans around him.

But humans are becoming disillusioned with the Gods they once held so much faith in, believing (correctly) they have little care or interest in looking after them. And some of these mortals have a destiny connected to the Gods far greater than they could have ever imagined.
