Everything you need to know about Unstable

Hollywood icon Rob Lowe joins forces with his son, John Owen Lowe, in Netflix comedy Unstable.

The series follows Jackson, a shy and socially awkward twenty-something as he begins working at his estranged father Ellis’s multi-million dollar bioresearch facility, Dragon.

Ellis is a universally admired entrepreneur, though slightly narcissistic and highly eccentric, vowing to make the world a better place.

However, after the death of his wife, he finds himself on the verge of a nervous breakdown as he struggles to grieve the loss.

On the verge of being ousted from the company, Ellis is aided by his COO Anna, who will do whatever it takes to keep the business afloat.

Throughout the series, the pair attempt to rebuild their relationship, with Jackson hoping he can break free from his father’s shadow.

The series first aired in March 2023, with a second season confirmed by the end of the year.

The second season debuted on Netflix on August 1, 2024.
