The two leading men of the series are:

Big Zuu – Big Zuu, real name Zuhair Hassan, is a BAFTA Award-winning TV personality and musician. He is best known for his TV series, Big Zuu’s Big Eats, which launched in 2020, and sees him cooking for stand-up comedians while they’re on tour. In 2021, he released his debut album, Navigate, and previously featured on KSI’s single Uncontrollable.

AJ Tracey – AJ Tracey, real name Ché Wolton Grant, is a rapper and musician who originally released tracks under the name Looney. He was part of the MTP (My Team Paid) group alongside Big Zuu, who is his cousin. He has released two albums under his current name, AJ Tracey and Flu Game, and has worked on tracks with artists including Dave, Aitch and Mabel. In 2023, he launched The AJ Tracey Fund, pledging £40,000 a year to help gifted minority students attending Oxford University with financial aid and mentorship in a bid to bring better representation to the esteemed educational school.

Big Zuu & AJ Tracey’s Rich Flavours ran for three episodes in season 1, each seeing the pair head to a new destination around the world to focus on their own unique – and super expensive – delicacies.

Each episode runs for 45 minutes.

These are:

South Korea – Starting in Seoul, the pair meet with Korean millionaires who are used to the finer things in life, grabbing food at the five-star Signiel Hotel – the city’s tallest building where rooms cost up to £14,000 a night, and where 16x Michelin-star chef Yannick Alléno has a high tea that costs £100 per person. They then head to meet up with a Mukbang YouTube star who earns up to £100,000 a month from people watching her eat. After a quick trip to a corner store, a Korean barbecue platter worth £850, and sampling Korean-fried chicken, the pair then go ginseng farming, before cooking up a meal for Korean nobility, Yi Seok.

The Scottish Highlands – Up in Bonnie Scotland, Zuu and AJ head to the luxury ‘old money’ estates of the rich and high society. They eat the most expensive haggis in the world (coming in at £4000), sample scotch whiskey, ride carriages, go fishing and hunting, before putting their own spin on classic Scottish cuisine.

New York – Finishing the series in the concrete jungle, Zuu and AJ check out how the 1%ers of New York splash their cash. Sampling $2000 gold leaf pizza - the most expensive in the world - the pair put in a shift at the 2-Michelin starred Modern kitchen, and try $3,000 jacket potatoes at the Mark, and AJ’s favourite pizza place. They end their time in the Big Apple by serving up food for the suits on Wall Street from a pizza van.
