In new US thriller The Good Daughter, based on Karin Slaughter’s best-selling novel of the same name, two sisters have their bond tested as their past comes back to haunt them.

Sisters Charlotte and Samantha Quinn’s lives were changed forever after a single night of violence that shook them to their core.

Over two decades later, after piecing their lives back together. Charlotte is now a lawyer, just like their father – but when she witnesses a new attack in her hometown of Pikeville, Charlotte, she finds herself becoming entangled in a world of buried secrets and painful memories she would rather forget.

As the case continues, the strength of Charlotte’s bond with her sister and father is put under pressure, as the secrets they buried together begin to resurface.
