Everything you need to know about Paramount+ thriller, Insomnia

Insomnia stars Vicky McClure as Emma, a high-flying family lawyer with two children, a loving husband – and the sense that things are about to go terribly wrong.

Emma begins to fear that she is cursed the same way her mother was, and is destined to have a psychotic breakdown on her 40th birthday, ruining everything she’s built.

Emma’s mother always told her the same thing would happen to her, declaring she had “bad blood”.

As the big day draws near, Emma stops sleeping, and sleepwalks when she does, prompting her to believe it could be true.

Soon, Emma’s life begins to spiral out of control, with the key to her future and answer to her problems lying dormant in her past.

Can she figure out the truth before it’s too late?
