Everything you need to know about new Paramount+ thriller, Curfew
Set in an alternate reality, Curfew is a brand new thriller in which everyone lives under a strict new rule known as The Women’s Safety Act.
As part of the Act, all men are bound by a curfew that means they have to be indoors between 7pm to 7am every night, and are tracked by an ankle tag 24 hours a day.
Set in place three years before the show started, the Safety Act has been considered highly effective and a success.
So when a woman is brutally murdered on the steps of the Woman’s Safety Centre – a crime committed during curfew hours – it’s up to police officer Pamela Green to discover the truth.
Believing a man is responsible, she has to fight against the brass to be taken seriously, with her theory rejected.
But if she’s right, the entire act could be thrown into jeopardy and could trigger a potentially catastrophic chain of events.
Based on the novel After Dark by Jayne Cowie, this six-part murder mystery is set to be released later this year on Paramount+.
