When brick business magnate Jack Wright dies by an apparent suicide, his extensive family gathers to read his will and testament.

However, not everything is as it seems, and when it’s discovered that he left none of his £100million fortune to his third wife, Sally, and his two eldest sons, Graham and John.

As Sally decides to challenge the will, Graham is avidly dodging loan sharks while John – who has been raised to take over the family business – is left confused as to why he was so brutally ignored by his father.

But soon suspicion grows over whether or not he did kill himself – and when it’s discovered Jack Wright was murdered, suspicion turns to the family members, whose tenuous relationships fall apart at the seams.

As the series plays out, viewers are clued in on what might have happened via interviews, as the truth waits to reveal itself.
