Everything you need to know about Blue Bloods

Blue Bloods is a highly acclaimed police procedural drama centred on the Reagan family – who have several generations of cops in New York law enforcement.

Leading the pack is patriarch Frank Reagan, the New York Police Commissioner, who handles his department, his family, and the politics of his position with diplomacy. His father, Henry, previously stood in the position.

Danny, Frank’s eldest son, is an Iraq war veteran and now a proud detective at the NYPD but can sometimes go rogue in his efforts to solve cases alongside partner, Detective Maria Baez.

The youngest son, Jamie, is a Harvard law graduate, but has decided instead to follow in the family footsteps and become a cop as well. He is partnered up with Eddie, who keeps him on his toes—but she has her own motives for being on the force.

The women in the family are just as powerful and influential, with Frank’s daughter Erin an assistant district attorney and single mother to daughter, Nicky.

Launching in 2010, Blue Bloods is set to end in 2024 with its fourteenth and final season.
