What is The White Lotus season three about?
The White Lotus season three moves the drama to Koh Samui, Thailand.
There, we are once again introduced to the wealthy guests spending their vacation at the exclusive resort, and the staff working to cater to their every whim.
Staying this season are the Ratliff family, consisting of troubled father Timothy, pill-popping wife Victoria, boorish adult son Saxton, teenage son Lochlan, and graduate Piper, who led the family here in search of some enlightenment.
Also staying at the resort is surly “businessman” Rick, who is also looking for something, or someone. With him is his younger partner Chelsea, who’s goal in life is to bring joy back into Rick’s life.
Rounding off the new guests are a trio of old friends, Kate, Laurie and Jaclyn. Taking a break from their families to enjoy some girl time, it’s not long before the backbiting begins.
And while they enjoy everything the hotel has to offer, we also meet some of the staff at the hotel, including lovelorn security guard Gaitok, the object of his affections Mook, hotel owner Sritala, and a familar face from season one – Belinda, who is at the resort on a work exchange programme. While there, Belinda notices another individual we might have met before...
Over the course of a week, the lives of the guests and staff intertwine and grow ever complicated – culminating, as befitting of The White Lotus – in a death. But who will it be?
