It’s time to check back into The White Lotus – where service with a smile is always hiding something just that little bit darker.
The destination this time for the Emmy award-winning series is the picturesque island of Sicily, Italy, where pasta is plentiful, the wine ever-flowing, and the vistas so beautiful you barely notice the dead bodies floating by.
Much like last time, The White Lotus will centre around the privileged guests spending time at the resort – with Tanya McQuoid back again after finding love the last time, this time with her disgruntled personal assistant Portia in tow.
She’ll be joined by the men of the Di Grasso family, who are there to complete their own their heritage; Cameron and Daphne Sullivan, whose relationship seems a bit too deliriously happy to be believable, and the Sullivan’s pals Ethan and Harper, whose position in this privileged world doesn’t appear to be as well grounded as Cameron’s is.
Fasten your seatbelts for one hell of a bumpy trip.

Season 2 Episodes Recap
Season two of The White Lotus unfolds over six episodes – and starts with Daphne on a leisurely swim in the ocean, right before she discovers a body. As manager Valentina freaks out as more bodies are discovered, we’re left to figure out what exactly went wrong.
Episode 1: Ciao
At the start of the trip, everything looks as it should be as guests arrive at The White Lotus resort – thanks to perfectionist manager Valentina.
Tanya and her new husband Greg aren’t in the best place, but at least she has Portia with them, much to Greg’s annoyance. When Portia is scurried away out of sight, she meets Albie, the dashing young graduate there to dig up his family heritage with father Dominic and grandfather Bert – both of whom haven’t been the best role models when it comes to love.
Also on the trip is Ethan and Harper Spiller, who have joined Ethan’s old college buddy Cameron and his wife Daphne on the trip. Harper makes no secret she is not a fan of either of them, not buying their overt displays of affection and sunny dispositions. This is made worse later by an encounter with Cameron later – and Ethan’s reaction to it.
Finally, we’re introduced to Mia and Lucia – two local girls there to service the guests… albeit in an unofficial capacity.
Episode 2: Italian Dream
Mia and Lucia hit the jackpot with one of their clients. Portia and Albie begin to grow closer, with a tourist excursion turning into a dinner. Bert is unhappy with son Dominic for ‘getting sloppy’ with some of his behaviours.
Elsewhere, Ethan and Harper are finding themselves struggling to compete with Cameron and Daphne, though want to make the best of the trip – no matter what that takes.
Tanya is heartbroken when Greg decides to cut his time on the trip short, which is made even worse when she overhears a phone call.
Episode 3: Bull Elephants
Dominic tries to get out of a business arrangement. Portia is called to duty by Tanya who, feeling lonely after Greg’s sudden exit, decides to resort to a tarot reader for advice. But what she hears isn’t quite what she was hoping for.
Albie, already smitten with Portia, wants to take things to the next level, but her romantic attentions are diverted elsewhere.
Daphne and Harper spend a girl’s day away from the resort, where Daphne makes a confession to her ‘new friend’ in light of what’s been happening.
Cameron and Ethan have a boy’s night, where the ulterior motive of Cameron inviting Ethan on the trip comes to light. Things soon get out of hand as the night wears on.

Episode 4: In The Sandbox
Lucia and Mia find themselves having to chase down payment from their latest client – leading to awkwardness among the guests.
Tanya and Portia spend the day getting to know charming British residents, Quentin and his nephew Jack, who live in Palermo. Quentin and Tanya hit it off immediately as he welcomes her into his fold of gay friends, who adore her eccentricity. Jack and Portia hopelessly flirt with each other with the connection undeniable.
Harper is blindsided after discovering remnants from Ethan’s night out with Cameron, leading her to doubt their marriage.
Albie starts to get over Portia by connecting with someone new.
Mia’s reckless decision-making results in an ambulance being called to the hotel.
Episode 5: That’s Amore
Harper and Ethan finally discuss what actually happened on the boy’s night. The tension between the couples begins to boil over on a wine-tasting excursion, with Ethan clearly feeling a little demeaned as Cameron continues his campaign to seduce Harper.
Albie is left upset when his new love interest comes at a cost, but it doesn’t prove enough to stay away from her.
Lucia is confronted by a man who claims she owes him money, while Mia comes up with a new business arrangement with Valentina to fill a position suddenly available at the hotel.
Tanya and Portia join Quentin and his friends in Palermo, where Portia is whisked off on a romantic date by Jack. However, their Sicilian dream suddenly comes to a halt when Tanya makes a discovery that changes everything.
Episode 6: Abductions
As the divide between Ethan and Harper continues to grow, Ethan grows more suspicious and resentful towards Cameron – reaching the conclusion he’s sleeping with Harper.
The Di Grasso men continue their search for their family roots, resulting in a reaction from their long-lost relatives none of them were particularly prepared for.
Lucia asks Albie for help out of a difficult situation.
Tanya and Portia separately make discoveries about their new friends that could put them in danger, without telling each other what they’ve found out.
Episode 7: Arrivederci
Harper and Ethan hold crisis talks about their marriage, leading to a new confession and a showdown between Cameron and Ethan. Ethan later has a heart-to-heart with Daphne, with ambiguous results.
Albie and Dominic come to Lucia’s rescue, but there’s a twist.
Valentine offers Mia a new permanent role at the hotel, to the anger of who she’s replacing.
Portia and Tanya find themselves in separate kinds of danger – with Portia on land with Jack and Tanya on a boat with Quentin and his friends. Quentin and his cohorts’ plans begin to take shape, but Tanya storms into action to save herself. The consequences prove to be dire for everyone nearby.
By the morning, bodies are found by police – as the rest of the guests bid farewell to the White Lotus after a drama-filled week.
