What is LifeHack about?
In LifeHack, four teens on the cusp of adulthood spend most of their days on the internet – between them, they prank scammers, exposing their real identities thanks to coding and old-school online sleuthing.
But with college bills quickly mounting up, leader Kyle proposes the idea: what if they become the scammers themselves? And their target? Tech billionaire Don Heard. If they steal his cryptocurrency, they can live their best lives without a care.
Soon Kyle, Alex, Sid and Petey as they put their plan into action via videochats, on a mission to get their hands on his money by any means necessary and putting their separate skills to use to get to the crypto-cash.
But while they manage to pull off their crimes, it didn’t go unnoticed, and soon they are on the radar of Lindsay Heard, the daughter of the techbro who has been cut off from his finances. She wants in on the scam to get the money she feels she deserves.
Now in over their heads but too tempted by the reward to say no, the team have to pull off the ultimate heist – and figure out how to get away with it.
A heist thriller told entirely through computer screens, LifeHack tracks first launched in 2024, and earned an impressive 90% score on critics aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes.
