What is Evil about?
In this supernatural drama, three specialists from completely different walks of life are brought together by the Catholic Church with one major task: investigate a series of seemingly unexplainable events, and determine whether they’re human acts, demonic events or divine miracles.
Forensic psychologist Dr Kristen Bouchard is a certified sceptic when it comes to believing in the supernatural, but her new business associate David Acosta – a Catholic priest in training – is more open to believing. Joining them is Ben Shakir, a tech whizz who is determined to find logic in any given situation.
As their work begins, all three have their patience, faith and knowledge tested when they are confronted with situations their beliefs can’t explain. But as their work continues and they become more committed to the project, outside forces draw them into a tangled web the good and evil are too often intertwined.
First launching in 2019, the series ran for four seasons, totalling 50 episodes, before concluding in 2024.
