It’s been a long time coming (four years, to be exact), but Euphoria is finally back on our screens – and things are more messed up than ever.
While all of the gang have now graduated high school, life is coming at each of them fast as they make their way into adulthood.
Struggling Rue is now a drug smuggler in Mexico, going to extremes (and often stomach-churning) lengths to pay back drug dealer Laurie – who tracked her down in a bid to get back the $10,000 dollars she owes. Add four years of interest… and Rue is in trouble.
Meanwhile, Nate and Cassie are still in East Highland and engaged to be married – but with Cassie wanting the most extravagant wedding possible, she’s turned to selling raunchy pictures on OnlyFans in a bid to make some money.
Maddy is living on the fringes of fame as a personal assistant in Hollywood, Jules is a sugar baby for an older man, and Lexi is trying to make it as an assistant on a studio lot.
Here’s how the season plays out.

When was Euphoria season 3 released?
Euphoria season 3 launched on Sky Atlantic, NOW and HBO Max on Monday April 13, 2026, in line with the US release.
The series ended on 1 June 2026, with the showrunners confirming that season three would be Euphoria's final series after the final episode was broadcast.
Is Euphoria ending with season 3?
Yes - though the team at HBO waited until after the season finale aired to confirm the news.
In an emotional video shared on the HBO YouTube page, Zendaya was seen thanking the cast and crew as she said goodbye to the show.
“I just want to say thank you,” she said. “I’m incredibly grateful for every single one of you, and many of you have been here from the beginning and watched me grow up.
“It’s such a pleasure and an honour. Thank you so much.”
“I think in the end I wanted to tell an honest story about addiction. I also wanted to tell a story about grief and the emotional turmoil that it can create,” creator Sam Levinson added.
Prior to the confirmation, the team had long suggested that season three would be the show’s last.
Speaking to Deadline in February 2025, Francesca Orsi, Head of Drama at HBO, said: “We’ve talked about it, I don’t think anything is over until it’s over, but it’s been discussed that this is the end.”
“I think you will be very satisfied with this season, and how we bring each of the characters’ whole narrative,” she added.
In April 2026, creator Sam Levinson confirmed there were no plans for season 4 at that point, telling Hollywood Reporter: "I write every season like it’s the last. If inspiration strikes and I have an idea, then I’ll talk to HBO. If it makes sense, it makes sense.
Explaining each series involves a “long shoot” to bring it to fruition, he added: “We just want to get this season right. So if this is it, great."
