One of the U.K.'s longest-running series, "Taggart" is a gritty detective show based in Glasgow, Scotland. The show follows detectives in the Maryhill CID of Strathclyde Police as they investigate crimes, often murders. The personal relationships of the officers and their families is also explored in the series.

Episode 1Killer

In the first-ever episode, DCI Taggart is joined by DS Peter Livingstone to investigate a series of murders in which the female victims have all had clumps of their hair removed.

Episode 2Dead Ringer

A murder case which Taggart apparently solved years before resurfaces and takes a turn for the worse when the victim's nine-month-old nephew is kidnapped.

Episode 3Murder in Season

Taggart is called in when the mistress of a world-famous opera singer's estranged husband is found dead shortly after she returns to Glasgow to try and reconcile with him.
