One of the U.K.'s longest-running series, "Taggart" is a gritty detective show based in Glasgow, Scotland. The show follows detectives in the Maryhill CID of Strathclyde Police as they investigate crimes, often murders. The personal relationships of the officers and their families is also explored in the series.

When an activist is found murdered in her flat, suspicion falls on a local property developer. DI Ross focuses his attention on a hit and run case, which angers his superiors.

Episode 4Pinnacle

When an alcoholic cancer sufferer is accused of murdering his wife, D.S. Reid finds it hard to believe that he is guilty of murder and sets out to prove his innocence.
