The five-day event in Pilton, Somerset features a broad range of artists and music styles and showcases the best up-and-coming talent in theatre, comedy and performing arts. BBC presenters give an overview of sets from different stages around the venue, including headline performances from the Pyramid Stage. Running intermittently since 1970, the festival has gained global recognition and has previously hosted performances by the likes of David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Oasis and Kings of Leon, amongst many others.
