This optimistic series sees Emma Willis and AJ Odudu, both television presenters and real-life friends, set out on a mission around the entire UK to meet some ordinary people who are putting their lives back together after the impact of multiple lockdowns during the Covid-19 pandemic. As well as hearing the stories of those they visit, the pair get stuck into the real work that the families and communities are undertaking in order to rebuild their businesses and lives, getting involved with everything from helping to shear sheep to cleaning loos and drumming up sales. As the country begins to look forward, imagining together how post-pandemic community and shared life will take shape, the two friends bring some much-needed cheer to the work needed to achieve it.
