Bored janitor Josh escapes reality by playing an unbeatable video game, but when he wins, visitors from the future appear to tell him he's the only one who can save the world.

In 1969, Josh, Tiger and Wolf launch a mission to infiltrate a fraternity party and prevent Dr Kronish from contracting herpes.

When Josh goes back on his initial agreement to help Tiger and Wolf terminate Dr Kronish, they target him instead.

In the wake of the disastrous attempt to assassinate Dr Kronish, Tiger and Wolf remove Josh from the mission - until they realise their time travel device is compromised.

Tiger, Wolf and Josh work to unmask the Biotics undercover at the Kronish Labs Christmas party, and Josh grows closer to Jeri as she helps him avoid an obsessed policeman.

Josh, Tiger and Wolf have 27 minutes before their Biotic captive's head explodes. Meanwhile, downstairs, Josh's parents are having a dinner party.

Josh, Tiger and Wolf jump into the future to steal the fuel they desperately need to continue their mission. When they arrive, they must overcome a high-tech house.

When Josh's mother is abducted, he tries to persuade Tiger and Wolf to put their mission to one side and help him save her.

Josh insists he knows how to end the threat of Dr Kronish and takes charge of the time machine - but before long Wolf is lost.

In the past, Josh attempts to alter Dr Kronish's future without messing up his own. Tiger suspects Wolf's zeal for the cause is faltering.

Torn apart by internal divisions, the team is scattered throughout history as Tiger and Wolf reckon with the way the mission has changed them.

Josh learns that his interference in the past has completely transformed his life - for the better. Wolf and Tiger deal with the aftermath of their failed mission.

Out of time and options, the team realise that their actions have made everything much worse and plan one final mission to put an end to Dr Kronish and the Cure forever.
