Award-winning architect Patrick Bradley visits people from across Northern Ireland who are embarking on ambitious restoration projects. Buildings include a 19th century gate lodge, a disused high street bank, a fisherman's cottage, and a building on Patrick's own family farm. For each project, Patrick explores the history of the buildings, looking at their original use, occupants, and how they fitted in to their communities. He also discusses the challenges of restoring old buildings, and explores the issues faced by developers.
