Middle-aged psychologist Paul Weston (Emmy nominee and Golden Globe Award winner Gabriel Byrne) confronts some uneasy truths about his own life while conducting therapy sessions with his patients. Based on an award-winning Israeli programme, each episode focuses on one specific patient - either a patient of Paul's, or Paul himself, in therapy with his own psychotherapist (Dianne Wiest).

Mia - Week Two: Mia returns to apologise for her unprofessional behaviour the previous week, but ends up dropping a bombshell that leaves Paul shaken. (S2, ep 6)
April - Week Two: April turns on Paul when he reveals he consulted an oncologist about her. Perhaps haunted by the death of former patient Alex, he's keen to strike a deal. (S2, ep 7)
Oliver - Week Two: Oliver reveals he can't sleep and blames himself for his parents' rows. Can Paul make Bess and Luke see the toll their tempers are taking on their son? (S2, ep 8)
Walter - Week Two: Walter has collapsed again since he last saw Paul. He says he doesn't have feelings, but Paul learns how traumatised he is by death and disappearance. (S2, ep 9)
Gina - Week Two: Paul sees his first love, Tammy, at Gina's, forcing his therapist to set strict rules, and Paul to return to a painful event during their time together. (S2, ep 10)
Mia - Week Three: Laura is once again the topic of conversation, as an angry Mia accuses Paul of abandoning his former patients in Maryland, just as he did to her. (S2, ep 11)
April - Week Three: Exhausted and unable to sleep, April is desperate to talk to Paul, but she might not be ready to listen to what he has to say. Intense drama. (S2, ep 12)
Oliver - Week Three: Oliver arrives for his session on a high, but his happiness is short-lived after he accidentally reveals his father's secret to his mother. (S2, ep 13)
Walter - Week Three: In the midst of a crisis at work and unhappy that his trip to Rwanda didn't go as planned, Walter arrives stressed and unwilling to listen to Paul. (S2, ep 14)
