Top of the Lake

Set in the bustling city of Sydney in Australia, the series `Top of the Lake: China Girl' centres on the investigation into the death of an Asian girl after her body washes up on Bondi Beach. With little hope of finding the killer, detective Robin Griffin then discovers that China Girl didn't die alone. As Robin searches to uncover China Girl's identity, she also tries desperately to find the daughter she gave up at birth. During her investigation, Robin is taken into the city's darkest recesses and closer than she could've dreamed to uncovering her own secrets.
