What happens in Brassic Series 6?
After an explosive end to season five, the Brassic gang are back. They’re busy getting their lives back in order, only now the landscape is changing. People are getting older and the question of growing up looms in the air.
But what does ‘growing up’ mean to a bunch like this?
Man-eating crocodiles, naked cults, and terrible spray tans. The MacDonagh’s are high on new-found power and cause trouble again. Vinnie and Erin try out this new ‘letting go’ phase of their relationship. And the others all face challenges of their own – there’s kids, parents, marriages. They’ve got baggage now.
But it’s Brassic, and so there’s plenty of raucous adventure to pull the gang together. Their bond proves fool-proof time and time again in this jam-packed season. Not even a giant stuffed tuna can stop them.

Season 6: Episode Recap
Series six is comprised of seven episodes, kicking off with a countrywide mystery being solved… kind of, and a trip to Dublin, Ireland.
But wherever these lot go, trouble isn’t far behind. Thankfully, this is nothing new for them. BEWARE SPOILERS BELOW.
Episode One – Stolen FA Cup
A retired felon has something interesting stashed away in his attic… the original FA cup stolen back in 1895. It’s just an interesting tale at first, until it gets robbed from the old dude’s home and Vinnie gets the blame.
On a mission to clear his name, Vinnie and the gang chase the real culprits all the way to Dublin and cosy up with Ireland’s criminal underbelly. This is a trip the gang won’t forget in a hurry.
Episode Two – That Night
We jump back in time for some answers to season five’s cliff-hanger: Manolito hiding in the weed bunker with a loaded gun. This is a man who wants blood and is willing to spend hours in a cupboard to get it.
But fortunately for the gang, things don’t go to plan. Cue carnage, cover-ups, and a hungry crocodile. To make matters more complicated, the MacDonagh’s come sniffing around, and Erin announces that she wants a fresh start.
Episode Three – Blast From The Past
Farmer Jim’s old flame is back on the scene and reigniting something in the old man. It’s an erotic trip down memory lane, which turns out isn’t for the faint-hearted. Confronted by this racy past, Jim finds himself exposed – both his heart and his...
Meanwhile, JJ’s back! The gang come up with an elaborate scheme to clear his name involving some suspect spy action and a pair of ridiculous glasses.
Episode Four – Naked Cult
Gideon has found his people; the only problem is they’re all naked and it’s a cult. It’s up to the gang to rescue him. They pose as cult members to get close, but before long they’re in dangerously deep and need rescuing themselves.
Elsewhere, Tommo teams up with a one-time dance arcade champion to bring down a rival club. The kid gave up on his dream long ago, until Tommo inspires him to get his groove back.
Episode Five – Heartbreak
Wedding bells are ringing in Hawley, and it’s a nightmare. Cardi’s mum returns after being AWOL for years with a new fiancé in tow. She’s getting married for the fourth time and is demanding Cardi organise it … in 48 hours.
At the same time, a mystery man from Carol’s past shows up and threatens to destroy everything. Carol and Cardi’s marriage is put to the ultimate test – can our golden couple survive this?
Episode Six – The Mark
Ashley is on a mission to reinstate his reputation as ‘the muscle’ of the group. As he gears up for a fight that could make or break him, a dodgy agent attempts to make things dirtier than they have to be.
Meanwhile, the gang are distracted by Erin’s visit to Hawley and the promise of a big payday. Her new bosses claim to own a priceless historical relic. Only Erin’s been set up, and the job isn’t exactly what it seems.
Episode Seven – A Wedding and Two Funerals
JJ and Sugar tie the knot, but celebrations are cut short by some tragic news. The gang now must plan another event, one they never wanted to see happen. But a goat, some middle-aged cheerleaders, and a hell of a lot of weed makes this a classic Brassic finale. This group of friends know how to bring the joy, even at the saddest moments.
Meanwhile, Davey deals with the McCann problem once and for all.
Who Dies in Brassic Series 6?
It’s revealed in the final episode of the series that Dylan (played in seasons 1-4 by Damien Molony) has been killed in a bike accident in Brighton. We last saw Dylan at the end of series four, being bundled into a car by the McDonaugh’s hired goons. His whereabouts remained unknown, although Vinnie did receive a voicemail from him at the end of series five. However, in the final episode of series six his tragic passing is confirmed, leaving Vinnie to give him the send-off they both planned when they were 14 years old.
Crime boss Terence McCann (played by Ramon Tikaram) is also murdered in his prison cell in the season finale, in a hit orchestrated by Davey MacDonagh.
Why did Damien Molony leave Brassic?
Damien confirmed in 2022 he would not be returning to Brassic for series five following his dramatic exit at the end of the fourth series to focus on other projects. Addressing his departure, Molony told the Radio Times “"They were really exciting scenes to film, no doubt, but also emotional for me, because I've had four incredible years of, essentially, laughing and to suddenly shoot these scenes on my own, without the gang... there were a couple of moments that night where I was like, 'This is the end...'"
Do Erin and Vinnie Get Together?
While a drunken night in their youth resulted in the birth of their son, Tyler, Vinnie and Erin have not officially gotten together yet in Brassic. However, the two are deeply connected, and there’s still a whole other series to go... Anything could happen.
How Does Series Six of Brassic end?
As everyone gives Dylan a massive send-off, Brassic style, Terence McCann’s throat is cut in a prison hit organised by Davey MacDonaugh. Arriving at the funeral with his sister, Donna, Davey offers his condolences to Vinnie and tells him that “McCann is no more”. Returning to his car, he tells Donna “The king is dead. Long live the king.”
After the funeral. the gang fulfil the last of 14-year-old Dylan’s wishes by heading out on a bus to The Cerne Giant on Dorset, where his ashes can be scattered in an appropriately immature way. On their way back, a wheel blows out and the bus skids off the road, teetering off the edge of a cliff a la The Italian Job. The gang head to the safe end of the bus, but a crate of beer threatens to send the bus plummeting over the side. As Vinnie crawls over to bring it back, he drops a joint... and the weight of it is enough to tip the bus further still. Is this the end of our heroes’ adventures?
No, is the short answer to that. We’ve got one more season to go.
