Season 3 Episodes Recap
Episode 1
It’s party time! Vinnie’s out of Blademoor after a six month stretch after sort of stealing a wedding. It’s not all good news. The newly promoted Detective Inspector Carl Slater is waiting for him and watching the gangs every move, and McCann has taken their weed farm. Without any way to make money, enter Farmer Jim to save the day with a new job; “The Great Bull Semen Heist”. Will it be the cash cow the gang need or just a load of bullocks?
Episode 2
While on a visit to offload some goods to Chinese Dan, Vinnie gets a call from his oddball friend Gideon. His elderly mum has finally passed, and he needs Vinnie’s help to give her a funeral. Gary, the local bad tempered, one-eyed undertaker, is willing to help. But he needs the gang’s help settling a score with a couple of clients that have succeeded in getting his ire. And even when it seems that the jobs all done and dusted, Gideon finds an old note from his mum stating that she wants a burial at sea.
Episode 3
After a disastrous caper at the horse track, the gang find themselves in serious debt to the MacDonaghs. To make matters worse, there’s trouble at the traveller’s site when Ashley’s cousin Doolan gets kidnapped. Uncle Francis calls in the boys to help drop of the ransom, with Vinnie acting as bagman. What follows is a disaster of Brassic proportions, involving a stolen Rolls Royce, a giant snake, and a bloke dressed as a squirrel on a moped. And to top it all off they need to make it back to Erin’s for Tyler’s eighth birthday with cake in hand.
Episode 4
Not content with pulling the gang into their koi carp debacle, the Bishops are back and involving them in their bitter divorce once again. This time, it’s Mr Bishop with a request: his wife is refusing to hand over three of his beloved classic cars and he want them to steal them back. The plan is to lift them from a classic car show, but all is not as it seems. It turns out Mr Bishop wasn’t being entirely truthful, and the car belongs to Mrs Bishop’s new amour. While they’re dealing with that, Erin has gotten herself in deep with Terence McCann, and it’s now dawning on her that she’s in serious trouble.
Episode 5
A trip to Tyler’s school play gets Ashley wondering about his own parentage. With his family not willing to give him any answers, Vinnie and friends agree to help him find out who his dad is. Could old friend Auntie Pat (a cross-dressing bare-knuckle fighter) hold the secret to finding him? Meanwhile, Vinnie finds himself in an unusual position when new barmaid Sam seems to take a liking to him, and he accidentally discovers some devastating news when it turns out Carol knows more about his mum than she let on.
Episode 6
Ronnie Croft is back, and this time he’s not alone. While he tries to convince Erin that he’s on the straight and narrow, it’s not long before he and his mate Keithy are getting in trouble. While Erin, Sugar and Carol enjoy a girls’ night out, there’s a break in at the Rat & Cutter. By the time they get back, they find the safe is missing, along with Terence McCann’s money. To no one’s surprise, Ronnie and Keithy were behind the robbery, but when the girls track down the culprit, things go seriously south and they find themselves having to dispose of a body.
Episode 7
Brassic gets buzzy when Chinese Dan gives the lads a new job. He needs them to steal some beehives, and sends them to a nearby village famed for its honey produce. The job seems to go well, all things considered. But when their vans break down and they’re stranded in the country, they have to wait it out in a local pub while JJ mounts a rescue. But all isn’t as it seems, and the job has one final sting in its tail. Back in Hawley, Erin meets with McCann to iron out a way to repay the money she owes him. But McCann isn’t a man with whom to bargain.
Episode 8
With McCann’s patience exhausted, Erin is in serious danger. She confides in Vinnie about the money she owes him, and her worst fears are realised when his goons kidnap Tyler. Blinded by rage and refusing to let this stand, Vinnie kidnaps McCann’s twin daughters in retaliation, which only makes things worse. With an impossible debt to repay in too short an amount of time, Vinnie does the unthinkable and looks to his nemesis Detective Inspector Carl Slater for help. With enemies closing in on every side, Erin makes a life changing decision that could change Vinnie’s life forever.
