Season 4 Episodes Recap
Episode 1 – “Getting There”
With Erin and Tyler in hiding and their whereabouts unknown, Vinnie is in a deep funk. It’s not much solace to him when he’s invited to his old friends Ringo and Bab’s re-wedding (don’t ask) and even less solace when Babs turns up at his shack looking for some pre-marital fun. She does however have a bright idea on how to find Erin and Tyler, which sends everyone down to Wales on a classic Brassic road trip in Tommo’s newest venture – a converted mobile sex dungeon. However, the MacDonagh brothers are moving in on McCann’s old turf, and Babs has her mind set on one last bang before the wedding, so things are far from simple.
Episode 2 – “Day at the Dogs”
“Arson Fire” a greyhound purchased by Chinese Dan, has lost its winning ways and he’s looking to get shot of it. Animal lover Cardi jumps at the opportunity to take him home (much to Carol’s displeasure) and the gang come up with a plan to get the dog (renamed “Martin”) back on track. Training seems to be going well until Martin pegs it into the woods and returns with a human foot in his jaws. Time to visit body part enthusiast Gary the undertaker to figure out where the hell it came from.
Episode 3 – “Lost in the Woods”
After everything they’ve been through, the lads decide they’re well-entitled to a camping trip away. Just them, the fresh air, and most importantly – no girls allowed. They soon wind up regretting this when they become hopelessly lost and start falling out with each other. With members of the party injured, off their head on coke, or horrifically ill after eating the wrong kind of berries, things aren’t looking good. And then they start hearing strange noises and seeing shady, hooded figures stalking through the forest…
Episode 4 – “Exotic Zoo”
The MacDonagh’s, ever the thorn in Vinnie’s side, make another power play when they invite him, Dylan and Tommo to a party at the luxury home of their distributor, Manolito, complete with exotic zoo. Manolito rubs Vinnie up the wrong way, and as is his modus operandi, he decides the best way to get back at him is to rob him of his precious animals. While the gang have had experience with lions, snakes, bulls, ponies and all sorts before, these really are birds of a different feather. Not only that, Davey MacDonagh soon gets wind of their plans and sends more trouble their way.
Episode 5 – “Amy”
Erin organises a charity fete for the struggling community centre that would look after her and her brother when they had nowhere else to go as children. While the gang help out, they are shocked when a young woman turns up at JJ’s car shop claiming to be Erin’s half-sister. For Erin, it’s the family she always wanted. But something isn’t quite right… The fallout from the legendary stolen wedding isn’t over yet, as the bride-to-be bullies the boys into a heist at the local botanical gardens to steal the perfect rose.
Episode 6 – “Murder Mystery”
Time to get dressed up and read up on your character – the gang are heading to a murder mystery party held at a stately mansion. Tipped off by Dr Chris, the plan is for the gang to distract the house’s owners and their guests while Vinnie and Jim head into the cellar and make off with a fortune in vintage wine. The problem is, the mystery is a little bit too compelling, and everyone gets a little bit too invested in their roles.
Episode 7 – “An Unexpected Guest”
Vinnie finds himself with a house guest when he comes across an elderly woman hiding in the woods near his shack. She speaks no English, but it seems like she’s in trouble. This sadly proves to be the case, and it turns out she is on the run from Davey MacDonagh. They give her shelter by hiding her in their weed farm, but it’s only a matter of time before the MacDonaghs know to look there. How are they going to get her to safety with those two psychopathic brothers on the hunt?
Episode 8 – “Davey’s House”
They’ve done it now. Having helped his prisoner escape, Davey MacDonaugh is livid and knows Vinnie and his friends had something to do with it. Wanting to cut off all ties with the sociopathic pair, Vinnie looks to Manolito with a proposition: cut out the MacDonaghs and deal with them directly. Manolito is receptive to the idea, but is unfortunately trapped into business with the brothers. They have in their possession an incriminating USB that they are using to blackmail him. If Vinnie and the gang can get the USB, they have a deal. But to get it means breaking into Davey’s home – a suicide mission if ever there was one.
