Season 2 Episodes Recap
Episode 1
Having faked his own death to avoid the wrath of Terence McCann, Vinnie has been lying low and only rarely poking his head out of Famer Jim’s weed shed. But the gang have a plan to lure him back out with a new business opportunity. The Rat & Cutter has become available for purchase, and for Tommo it’s the chance to live out a life-long dream. But he needs money, a lot of it, and fast. Lucky for them, the circus is in town, and with it a chance to make a big score. But there’s a ferocious surprise waiting for them in one of the trailers…
Episode 2
Having reached an agreement with McCann, Vinnie is out of his bad books for now, but forced into an uneasy partnership. Still, it’s a reason for celebration - little Vinnie is safe, he can finally leave the weed shed, and there’s a shedload of new business ventures on the horizon. The party comes to an end when McCann calls in Vinnie to pick up a nice old gent by the name of Tony Tillerton, but one dead peacock and a high-speed car chase later, and the guys are right back in trouble. Meanwhile, on a trip to France to stock up on booze for the Rat & Cutter’s grand re-opening, Cardi is shocked by a revelation about Carol, and a passport issue threatens to strand them over the Channel.
Episode 3
Tommo sets his heart on a set of erotic antique furniture at a local museum, thinking it’s just what the Rat & Cutter needs. But when they attempt a robbery, they find that they get beaten to the punch by a rival gang of thieves. After a bitter back and forth, it turns out the gang’s nemeses are led by a figure from Vinnie’s past, and there may be more to the saucy furniture than meets the eye.
Episode 4
Tortured by bad dreams, Vinnie’s been having some sleepless nights. Maybe it’s the new medication, maybe it’s the pressure from McCann, or maybe it’s the living in the woods smoking fat blunts and watching serial killer documentaries… either way, he decides he needs a change of scene. Lucky for him, Kath is out of town and he’s offered the chance to look after The Crow’s Nest for the night. But the chilled break takes a scary turn when a would-be burglar breaks in. With the rest of the gang preoccupied, Vinnie is pulled into yet another escapade when he agrees to help the interloper.
Episode 5
The boys new McCann-backed weed farm has come up trumps and the gang are sitting on a vast quantity of weed. Only problem is McCann now wants his return on investment and is expecting them to sell it. All of it. Thinking outside the box, Vinnie plans to hold a festival on Jim’s farm – what better way to offload a colossal amount of drugs in one go? One snag – they need equipment. So the gang get to work ripping off beer-fest organiser and all-round bellend Stefan Styles with some help from Erin acting as decoy. But the night ends disastrously when Vinnie Dad falls off the wagon and Erin is attacked by her ex-boyfriend’s brother.
Episode 6
Wedding bells are ringing as Cardi pops the question to Carol. As a wedding gift, Vinnie looks to kill two birds with one stone by giving them a ceremony to remember and helping JJ settle an old score: they’re going to steal the whole event from JJ’s bully of a cousin. So the plan is to swipe the food, the staging, the booze, the music… it’s a massive undertaking. But things seem to be going to plan until the bride walks in mid-heist and goes full-blown bridezilla. And to make matters worse, someone has found Tony Tillerton’s body, and McCann is pissed…
