Ben Miller stars as Professor Jasper Tempest in this stylish mystery drama, in which the Cambridge professor is swept up into the often dirty and sordid world of criminal investigation by an attack which takes place on the university campus. Professor Tempest suffers from OCD, a condition with which actor Ben Miller has personal experience, and this adds an extra dimension of complexity to his work with the police and his own personal life. Amidst the dreaming spires, Professor T must help the detectives to solve intriguing crimes while undergoing a slow but steady personal transformation, as he is forced by circumstances to face up to events in his past he would rather forget.
