Welcome to the double life of Thony De la Rosa – the ultimate handy woman if you’re into organised crime.

The Cleaning Lady is now three seasons in, with Thony De La Rosa’s double life as a caring mother and criminal underworld cleaning lady more intense than ever.

As the UK home of the first two outings of the show on Sky Witness, viewers will finally see the goings on in the US hit - as Thony tries to evade the police and make sure her ill son is taken care of.

That’s a lot easier said than done when organised crime is involved.

With two seasons now available, and a third to come this year, here’s everything you need to know about the key cast and characters of the show.

Played By: Elodie Yung (Daredevil, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Gods Of Egypt)

Before arriving in America, Cambodian-born Thony was a renowned surgeon in Manila in the Philippines. But after her son Luca got sick, she was forced to move to Las Vegas in order for him to get the treatment he so desperately needs.

With her visa now expired, Thony has to think on her feet and work as a cleaner in order to evade immigration police.

When she witnesses a murder, she’s given the ultimate opportunity to get the money she needs to save her son - work for the mob.

Played By: Martha Millan (The Gentlemen, The OA)

Thony’s sister-in-law who welcomes her and Luca into her home. She is the mother of two children of her own - Chris (Sean Lew) and Jaz (Faith Bryant).

She becomes Thony’s biggest support when it comes to looking after Luca as she juggles her double life. Like Thony, she’s an undocumented immigrant, and has her own struggles as she tries to be the best mother she can to her kids.

Martha described the role to TVFanatic as “a full-spirited, passionate hot mess, and complicated character.”

Played By: Adan Canto (X-Men: Days of Future Past, Designated Survivor)

A gangster for an Armenian crime family run by Hayak Barsamian, Arman brings Thony into his organisation when she accidentally witnesses a gangland execution.

In exchange for protection and the money she needs to help her son, he gives her a job as the mob’s doctor and cleaner.

Adan Canto, who played Arman, died in January 2024 after a private battle with appendiceal cancer. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Ann Canto, and their two children.

Played By: Eva De Dominici (Camino Al Amor, The Rich Do Not Ask For Permission)

Nadia and husband Arman are a power couple when it comes to the operation of the mob. Working out of the cigar club front that was given to them, Nadia uses her power of persuasion to encourage Arman to pursue more power.

While she is aware Arman is helping Thony with the medical bills, she doesn’t entirely trust their working relationship.

Played By: Oliver Hudson (Rules of Engagement, Nashville)

Garrett Miller is an FBI agent who is determined to take down the crime syndicate for which she is associated.

In order to do this, he uses Thony in order to infiltrate the group, with her effectively working as a double agent for him under threat of her being deported if she doesn’t.

He’s introduced as a smarmy cop, who puts on a nice guy persona but is in hot water with his bosses after sleeping with an informant. But soon he finds himself getting more attached to Thony as his investigation goes on.

Played By: Newcomers Sebastien and Valentino LaSalle

Luca is Thony’s son who suffers from a rare, life-threatening autoimmune disorder. As a result of the diagnosis, Thony brings him to Las Vegas in order to get the treatment he so desperately needs.

Played By: Liza Weil (How To Get Away With Murder, Gilmore Girls)

An Assistant Special Agent in Charge for the FBI, Katherine Russo is intelligent, stern and confident in her abilities when it comes to her job.

Before being promoted, she worked alongside Garrett Miller in the field, so has no trouble laying down the law with him and speaks bluntly about his attempts to take down Hayak Barsamian’s crime ring.

Played By: Navid Negahban (The Serpent Queen, City of Ghosts)

Hayak is the head honcho of the crime syndicate, and who Arman reports to. Dealing in illegal weapons, Barsamian is not someone to be messed with, and makes this known at any given opportunity. He has a collection of corrupt cops and government officials in his back pocket in order to make his operation run smoothly.

Thony wins him over after providing information on a theft, and he allows her to work as the cleaning lady for the mob’s operations.

Played By: Ivan Shaw (Dear Edward, That Dirty Black Bag, All My Children)

Marco is Fiona’s brother and Thony’s husband. He remained in the Philippines while Thony took Luca to get the help he needed in the USA. As well as Lucas illness putting a strain on their marriage, Marco is also addicted to gambling – a dangerous combination around Las Vegas. He does try to be a good father to Luca, but Thony doesn’t entirely trust him.

Played By: Brandon Jay McLaren (The Killing, Snowfall, Graceland)

Jeremy Dolan is charming and smart, and has an instant connection with Thony. A contractor-turned entrepreneur, he prides himself at building his business with a ‘personal approach’. She soon begins to rely on him for help and as a confidante. However, underneath his silky smooth persona is a sinister side that would cause trouble when revealed.

Played By: Kate Del Castillo (La Reina del Sur, Weeds)

Ramona is the elegant and cunning matriarch of the Sanchez family. While she is seen by the world to be a philanthropist and art collector, she harbours some secrets and is fiercely protective of both her family and her business.

Played By: Santiago Cabrera (The Flight Attendant, Star Trek: Picard)

Jorge is Ramona’s brother and deeply intelligent. A Harvard Law graduate, Jorge uses his legitimate business fronts to launder money for his family’s organisation. However, he is also volatile following the death of his wife which left him devastated. As such, he is fiercely protective of his daughter, Violeta.

Played By: Clayton Cardenas (Mayans MC, American Crime)

Dante is the trusted lieutenant for Ramona . Described as intense and authoritative, Dante has a dangerous edge and a laser-focus on protecting the business. This proves bad news for Thony, as she begins to undermine their work.
