`The Unexplained Files' investigates actual, inexplicable occurrences that have confounded scientists and inspired legends, from mysterious disappearances and UFO encounters, to unidentified fanged predators and reported curses. In addition to never-before-seen footage, the programme features renowned scientists, credible experts and direct eyewitnesses sharing vivid first-person accounts of truly bewildering experiences. Episodes include investigations of bizarre creatures that prey on livestock in Texas; a look at the Voynich Manuscript, a centuries-old tome that appears to be written in an unknown language; and the story of Frederick Valentich, a pilot on a routine training flight who reported seeing a strange aircraft hovering over him just minutes before he disappeared.
