Exams are over so Jamie and his best mate, Mike, are ready to enjoy a carefree summer. At the beginning of the summer, they decide to crash the sixth form party to hopefully get together with some females. Across town, 18-year-old Laura decides, with some prodding from best friend Danielle, to break her curfew and go to the same party, determined to have a good time. When Jamie and Danielle cross paths at the bash, she lands in his nervous-but-willing arms. Both of their lives change a few weeks later when Laura realises she is pregnant. The shell-shocked mother-to-be then breaks the news to Jamie, which is when she discovers that he is only 16.
