`Cardinal' is based on the novels of crime writer Giles Blunt and focuses on detective John Cardinal and his partner, Lise Delorme. They investigate crimes in the city of Algonquin Bay. Cardinal works to right past wrongs that could threaten his investigations and his career. The clock is always ticking and Cardinal has to race against the sands of time to save the killers' next victims.

Episode 1Cardinal

After being demoted for not letting go of a hunch about a missing girl, detective John Cardinal is brought back to the homicide unit after the victim is found brutally murdered.

Episode 2Delorme

The Algonquin Bay PD tries to make amends with the community for the botched investigation into Katie Pine's disappearance, and Delorme places herself at odds with Cardinal.

Episode 3Edie and Eric

Concerned that Cardinal is on to her, Delorme digs into the reasons behind her secret investigation. Meanwhile, a sadistic couple stalk the streets looking for a victim.

Episode 4Woody

A small-time thief stumbles into Eric and Edie's cellar dungeon, while Cardinal and Delorme's personal issues threaten their new partnership.

Episode 5Keith

The discovery of Woody Baldwin's body gives Cardinal and Delorme a chance to connect the murders to Eric Fraser - and the race is on to catch him before he kills Keith.

Episode 6Catherine

Cardinal wonders whether he and Delorme are missing a part of the puzzle, and a trip to the pharmacy where Edie works uncovers a disturbing piece of evidence.
