`Cardinal' is based on the novels of crime writer Giles Blunt and focuses on detective John Cardinal and his partner, Lise Delorme. They investigate crimes in the city of Algonquin Bay. Cardinal works to right past wrongs that could threaten his investigations and his career. The clock is always ticking and Cardinal has to race against the sands of time to save the killers' next victims.

Cardinal and Delorme dive into a mysterious new case, when a woman appears at a roadside bar with a bullet in her head and no memory of who she is.

The investigation leads Cardinal and Delorme to a local motorcycle gang, as the number of victims continues to rise.

Cardinal and Delorme uncover Red's identity and her connection to Algonquin Bay, as the person who shot her looks to finish the job.

The detectives work with Terri to piece together the events leading up to her shooting and Delorme gets a major break in the case - but it comes at great personal cost.

Episode 5Northwind

Cardinal and Delorme connect evidence from a fresh crime scene to the murder in the cave, as Terri's memories help them make connections between her brother and a suspect.

Episode 6El Brujo

Armed with Northwind's identity, Cardinal and Delorme race to find him before Terri and her brother die. A betrayal from within the police threatens the case.
