What is Below Deck about?

In Below Deck, viewers are given an insight into how the other half lives –from the crew’s perspective on board a luxury superyacht.

Tracking the crew during a charter season, we go into their quarters to see the friendships that form, the relationships that bloom, and the tensions that rise as they are forced to eat, sleep, work, and play together.

Tasked with providing a first-class experience, the team have the safety and enjoyment of their charter guests in their hands and will go the extra mile to ensure that they leave with memories to last a lifetime.

But while everything may looks like it's running smoothly in front of the guests, behind-the-scenes it can be as choppy as the waters they’re sailing on. It’s up to everyone involved to make sure that they keep their cool… or risk losing the massive tip at the end of each trip.

Once they get that, it’s time to party, with the crew letting their hair down and partying in some of the most luxurious locations in the world. But with the libations flowing and tongues loosened, it doesn’t always end in a good night.

First launching in 2013, Below Deck has since become its own franchise with multiple spin-offs, exploring the world through the eyes of the workers who serve the rich elite.
