What is Below Deck Mediterranean about?
In Below Deck Mediterranean, we’re heading to soak up some sun, sea and s…something special in this reality show set in the heart of the Mediterranean ocean.
A spin-off to the original Below Deck, the series (often shortened to Below Deck Med) tracks the crew of a luxury superyacht during a six-week charter season.
Allowing cameras into their quarters, viewers track the workers as they’re professional by day, but party on their downtime as they eat, sleep, work and play together during the course of the season.
While working, the team are on a mission to make memories for their guests, no matter how demanding they can be and even when the weather is against them. If they do well, there may be a hefty tip for them once the guests disembark.
Once ashore, and with the guests bid farewell, it’s time to party. But as with the other Below Deck series, all too often the crew mix business with pleasure, with hook ups and blow ups all included as standard.
