Marissa and Peter Irvine are leading the perfect life with their five-year-old son, Milo – until one day their beloved boy goes missing without a trace.

With the police informing them they’re against the clock to get Milo back safely, the entire community is shaken by the disappearance, especially Jenny Kasinski, who Marissa believed was looking after the boy when he was taken.

As the Irvine family at large rally together to try and piece together the answers, it’s up to Detectives Alcaras and Greco to get to the truth before it’s too late.

The series runs for eight episodes, and starts with Marissa Irvine arriving at 1800 Crescent Road to pick up her five-year-old son, Milo.

Episode 1

Marissa Irvine’s life is sent into a tailspin when, upon arriving to pick up her son, Milo, from a playdate, the woman who answers the door has no idea who she is – or who Milo is. What at first seems like an innocent mistake soon turns into full-on panic as it becomes apparent no one knows where Milo is. Where has he gone?

Episode 2

With the detectives now on the case, the Irvines enter day two of their living nightmare. Deciding the best option is to hold a press conference, the entire family have to put their best foot forward – but as attention on the case grows, the rumour mill is soon turning over who could be responsible and why.

Episode 3

As the search continues, certain people close to the case have some confessions to make. Meanwhile, Jenny begins to struggle with balancing her work and home life as husband Richie proves to be little help. Colin organises a canvassing effort, rallying the local neighbourhood to help get Milo’s face out there, while the detectives try to hunt down someone known as the ‘Marathon Man’.

Episode 4

It’s day four of Milo’s disappearance, and it doesn’t look like the Irvines are any closer to getting answers. Detective Alcaras is determined to pursue new leads but also has to juggle with a crisis of conscience as he spends the day looking after his disabled 13-year-old son, Sam, which gives him a new outlook on the case at large.

Episode 5

The Irvines decide to double down their efforts to find Milo with an interview with hard news programme Real Insight. But in the hours running up to the camera crew’s arrival, tensions boil to the surface as the family attempt to get the house ready, prompting chaos in the face of one of the most important tools they have to find their boy.

Episode 6

A massive break in the case comes as a huge relief to the Irvines, but their happiness is short-lived when it raises more questions than answers. With the family falling apart, it’s time for the family to come together to hash out all their secrets once and for all if they are to get through it, but someone is lurking in the shadows that threatens to spoil their plans.
