Your Honor is an American drama following a well-respected New Orleans judge who puts his life on the line in a bid to protect his son.
Adapted from the Israeli TV series, Kvodo, Your Honor follows Michael Desiato, whose life changes forever when his son Adam kills another teenager on a motorbike in a hit-and-run.
After Adam confesses what happens to his dad, Michael urges him to turn himself in, but is forced to quickly change his mind when he realizes the teen that died was actually the son of a powerful mobster who would likely have him killed.
The decision triggers a chain of events that sees Michael push his morals and ethics to the brink, with his choices having dramatic and devastating consequences.
First released in December 2020, Your Honor earned critical acclaim and proved so successful it was extended from a one-season limited run to two.
The finale aired in March 2023.

What is the age rating of Your Honor?
The official rating of Your Honor in the UK, as certified by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), is 15 for the overall series.
This means that it’s not suitable for children, with some scenes for more mature audiences.
Reasons for this rating is due to the show containing:

- Moderate blood and gore including brain matter and protruding bones

It was confirmed in July 2022, six months before the release of season two, that the series would be ending after that.
The show was initially conceived to be just 10 episodes, but the success of the series spurred Showtime on to extend it.
