Les and Lindy have a far from perfect marriage – and it’s about to get a whole lot more complicated in brand new comedy drama, The Miniature Wife.
Based on the short story by Manuel Gonzales, The Miniature Wife follows what happens when a technological experiment by Les goes horribly wrong, leaving Lindy waking up to discover she’s shrunk down to just six inches tall.
With no way to switch back, Les moves Lindy into a doll house in their house to keep her safe, but soon the pair’s domestic life is put to the ultimate test as they find themselves going head-to-head for power and control in their relationship.
Created by Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner (Boardwalk Empire, Goliath), The Miniature Wife brings a tale of marital mayhem to life in both the big and little ways.

At the time of writing (April 2026), there is currently no confirmation about the show’s return for a second season.
However, the team has expressed an interest in continuing the story – and even have a story in mind.
Speaking to TV Insider, co-creator Jennifer Ames said: “We designed the show, even from jump, to have subsequent seasons. So we would love to continue the story.”
