Teams of creative, technically-minded contestants from around Britain take on the challenge of turning standard cars into incredible weaponised vehicles, ready to face off against other teams in an arena-based `battle royale' in the desert. The engineers, mechanics and drivers must design and build their customised vehicles to be durable, fast and aggressive: the aim is to immobilise other cars while defending against their extreme on-board weapons, as the last one standing wins the honour of being crowned Carnage champion.
