Florence Road in Maidstone, Kent appears to be a normal road just like any other. On the surface, it is, but what lies beneath the surface is what is of interest to host Hugh Dennis and his team of archaeologists. The recent demolition of a pub unveiled the buried remains of a Roman bathhouse, sparking off speculation about what else may be buried in the area. Fortunately, the residents of the street are more than happy to give Hugh permission to dig up their gardens to see what treasures they may find.
