Celia inadvertently reveals a secret Gillian has been keeping since she was 15, while Kate feels awkward when Lawrence has difficulty accepting her relationship with his mother.

After the death of a friend, Alan and Celia decide to hold a wedding ceremony. Caroline and Kate's relationship is hampered by the arrival of Greg.

Caroline is stunned to learn Kate is pregnant, and as if that was not enough, John also has some shocking news. Celia is reluctant to introduce Alan to her sister.

The day of the wedding approaches and preparations are well underway. Alan is delighted by a surprise visitor and thoughts turn to the Stag and Hen dos.
