`Jonathan Creek' is a comedy-drama written by award-winner David Renwick and stars Alan Davies as the protagonist. The story follows Jonathan Creek, an inventor of magic tricks, who uses his natural talents to also solve murder mysteries. With an ability to look past illusions and use deductive reasoning the magician's consultant is able to uncover the truth. Creek often enlists the help of an assistant to aid him in the investigation.
