Michael finds himself in a lawless Panamanian prison, where he realises he was purposely incarcerated to free a mysterious inmate hiding in the jail's sewer system.

Sona's inmates face a water shortage and, without the presence of guards to take hostage, Lechero struggles to persuade a nonchalant Colonel Escamilla to provide any.

Michael talks to Sara over the phone but has to use code to communicate. Mahone gets a visit from the public defender assigned to his case, and Bellick makes an enemy.

After his failed attempt to rescue LJ and Sara, Lincoln receives a deadly warning from The Company, while Michael continues to plan his escape from Sona.

Michael targets the tower guards. On the outside, Lincoln and Sofia work on an ocean getaway as Susan moves the escape timetable forward.
