This reimagining of Australian drama `Prisoner: Cell Block H', `Wentworth Prison' showcases the struggle for inmates to survive in the violent environment of a contemporary women's prison. Upon arriving at Wentworth, Bea Smith - charged with the attempted murder of her abusive husband - is traumatised by what has happened to her and easily manipulated by others. One person who takes advantage of Bea's state is beautiful and charismatic Franky Doyle, the facility's temporary top dog, who uses Bea to do her dirty work.
