If the individual series weren’t enough, every once in a while Rob & Rom bless their fans with a special episode of Rob & Romesh Vs. From Christmas specials which see them take on the worlds of the circus and ice-skating to an iconic Three Lions special with the England World Cup football team, everyone’s favourite comedy duo are back with more laughs.

In this special edition, Rob & Rom set off to meet the stars of the England’s men’s football team ahead of their bid to win the 2022 World Cup. Their first stop is St George’s Park for a kick-around and who better than football legends Mason Mount and Jude Bellingham to show them how it’s done. To the surprise of everyone – including himself - Rob is an excellent striker, even earning a round of applause from the England players watching on the side.

After meeting the players and watching the team train, Rob & Rom have a quick chat with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford before attending a press conference where they each get to ask him a question. Next up Rob & Rom are off to meet Kyle Walker at the driving range so they can find out more about England camp.

With weeks until the World Cup and Rob on holiday, Romesh gets the call up to interview England manager Gareth Southgate. He takes advantage of the situation and manages to ask him all the important questions, like whether wearing a waistcoat was a tactical style move. Spoiler, it wasn’t!

Mason Mount is a professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Chelsea and the England national team. With Chelsea he won the Champions League in the 2020-2021 season.

Jude Bellingham is an English professional footballer who plays for Real Madrid and the English national team. He was called up to the England senior squad at 17 years old, making him England’s third-youngest full international and when he played in the Euro’s 2020 he became the youngest Englishman to play at any major tournament.

Jordan Pickford is a professional football player, who plays as a goalkeeper for Everton and the England national team. He was the starting goalkeeper in England’s 2018 World Cup journey and in Euro 2020, where they finished as runners-up.

Kyle Walker is a professional football player, who plays as a right-back for Manchester City and the England national team. He is considered one of the best full-back and is known for his pace. He has represented England at two European Championships and two FIFA World Cups.

Gareth Southgate is a former professional footballer and the current England men’s team manager. Since his appointment in 2016, he has taken the Three Lions squad to the semi-final of the 2018 World Cup, Euro finals in 2020 and the 2022 World Cup quarter-finals.

Rob & Rom are back for a festive special and as chosen by Rob’s followers, they’re off to join the circus. Helping them get prepared for their performance at Winter Wonderland, are West End and Big Top show Zippos. They’ll be trying three circus acts – acrobatics, contortion and knife throwing. What could go wrong?

After trying out acrobatics, it’s clear that this isn’t the one for them. Next up is contortion and the boys are tasked with firing a bow and arrow using their feet. Finally, one-after-the-other they get strapped to a spinning board whilst the other throws (fake) knives. With little success finding the circus act for them, the pair are sent to meet Mattie the Clown to see if being a clown might suit them better.

Before long - and having spent time training across a range of circus acts - it’s time for Rob & Rom to perform at Winter Wonderland.

Martin Burton is the founder of Zippos Circus. He started his career as a clown before moving into a traditional tenting circus. In Rob & Romesh Vs The Circus, Martin introduces the pair to Zippos Circus before his team take Rob & Rom through three different acts in the hopes that they find one they’ll be successful at.

Mattie the clown is a clown based in East London. In Rob & Romesh Vs, he is tasked with teaching Rob & Rom all about the art of performing as a clown.

She now serves as a Performance Director for Disney on Ice.

In similar fashion to the previous year, Rob & Romesh take to social media to find out what challenge everyone wants them to take on and there’s one clear winner…ice-skating. And in keeping with the festive theme, the duo are off to join Disney on Ice.

To kick things off Rob & Rom head to Ally Pally where they meet with Hannah Dolan Davies, who will teach them to skate, and Jackie Soames, who will decide whether they have what it takes to join Disney on Ice.

Despite acquiring limited skills during their training session, Rob & Rom get invited to officially audition for Disney on Ice. But to Rob & Rom’s horror in addition to needing to skate, they’ll need to learn how to lip sync if they stand any chance of landing a role. After a quick practice session with Hannah, Rob & Rom find out that they’ve managed to snag a role in the performance. Luckily for the pair, little skill is required when playing a citizen from Frozen.

Hannah Dolan Davies is a former skater with Disney on Ice, who puts Rob & Rom through their paces in an effort to teach them how to ice skate.

Jackie Soames is a former competitive figure skater, who represented Great Britain in the 1994 Lillehammer Olympics.

To celebrate Christmas, Rob & Rom headed to the home of Father Christmas – Lapland. The pair were fast put to work by professional elf Vanille, who had them try their hand at a range of festive-themed tasks. From running in snow shoes to being let loose in the reindeer enclosure, the pair quickly realised that being an elf is not as easy as they thought. If you’re after a bit of festive cheer, this is the episode to watch!

Ahead of the return of Rob & Romesh Vs Series 7, a special sneak peek at the pairs attempts at becoming stuntmen was released online. We see the pair dive headfirst into the world of stunt and attending the press junket for the blockbuster film The Fall Guy, where they meet director David Leitch and stars Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.
