What is Missing You about?

In Missing You, detective Kat Donovan goes on a mission for answers when she spots her “missing” fiancé Josh on a dating app.

Josh ghosted Kat 11 years ago with no explanation around the same time her father, Clint, was murdered. She continues to struggle with her grief, even with her father’s killer behind bars.

So when she decides to get herself back out on the dating scene, only to see Josh’s face appear after so many years, it leaves her with a lot of questions. But the further she goes down the rabbit hole, the more she’s left wondering just how much she can trust those around her.

Launching on Netflix in January 2025, Missing You shot to the top spot of most watched shows in the UK.

It is an adaptation of Harlan Coben’s book of the same name, with the story moving from New York to the UK.
