Force & Majeure
Time to put two of comedy’s best names on the case in this new retro detective comedy. Watch on Sky Max and NOW.What is Force & Majeure about?
Two comedy juggernauts are joining forces and solving crime in the brand new sharply funny comedy series, Force & Majeure.
Force & Majeure follows British art expert Thomas Force and American mercenary Jennifer Majeure, recruited by eccentric billionaire Amanda Daventry to take down a string of evil international villains – who just so happen to operate in some of Europe’s most glamorous locations.
However, the pair must also work together to escape the clutches of Amanda, who may not be telling them the whole story.
A retro-infused and irreverent spin on classic vintage action detective shows, Force & Majeure promises to be an adventurous throwback to iconic TV at its best.
The series was announced in September 2025 and is a Sky Original from Objective Fiction and Animal Pictures.
It is created by acclaimed comedy writers Tom Scharpling (Monk, What We Do in the Shadows), Iain Morris (The Inbetweeners, Time Bandits) and Cirocco Dunlap (Russian Doll, The Second-Best Hospital in the Galaxy).
The first season has been confirmed to run for six episodes.
